Brother International shows support toward Filipino ingenuity and creativity as it awards Brother sewing machines to Team Namikaze, the winners of the Costume Making category of the World Cosplay Summit 2021 held virtually last August 8 from Nagoya, Japan.

Cosplayers Jin Joson and AC Hernandez, collectively known as Team Namikaze, won the special award with their Naruto anime cosplay in the World Cosplay Summit 2021, in which dedicated, passionate, and creative cosplayers and Japanese pop culture fans and enthusiasts from around the world display their skill in cosplaying.

Team Namikaze received two units of the Brother A150 Sewing Machine, sponsored by Brother Japan and gifted to them by Brother Philippines on November 19. Brother Philippines president Glenn Hocson personally awarded the prizes to Joson and Hernandez, while World Cosplay Summit Philippine committee representatives Marcel Christoffer Madera and Tessa Villareal, JM Melegrito from Anime Pilipinas, and sponsors Kimura Chaves Enterprise, Inc. represented by General Manager Alitair Lamberang, and Kumu, Inc. represented by Khalil Kaimo were also present.

“We at Brother Philippines recognize the amazing and inspiring creativity of our Philippine representatives Team Namikaze in the realm of cosplaying. We are happy to further nurture their and other Filipino cosplayers’ passion for cosplaying and costume making with our high-performing genuine Brother products,” said Hocson.

The award-winning Brother A150 Sewing Machine features an automatic needle threader, a quick set bobbin, an easy-to-use and versatile user interface, a wide variety of stitch selections, and an automatic thread cutter for all your sewing needs. It currently retails for P29,995 at select authorized Brother dealers in the Philippines.
